A gift for Rebel 8

Dressed to impress, this character named Ibue, is sculpted out of clay and painted with acrylic. Being a fan of Mike Giant, I was immediately drawn to Rebel 8.
I created this figure a few years ago before mailing it out last week. I hope the guys at Rebel 8 dig it.

Skinner & Hal

I made these 2 buddies for Skinner and Hal. Each figure was sculpted out of a block of clay and painted with acrylic paint. When I met them, I knew I had to make them into figures. Skinner; his artwork is so bad-ass, its like taking my brain into a portal and seeing the different chambers of mythical chaos. I love it. Skinner is a inspiration and all around great guy and good friend. And his buddy, Hal always smiling when I saw him and that made me smile, so I can tell he is good folks.

Vinyl Record Cover

Being able to work on this project was a dream come true. Qbert, being one of my biggest inspirations, asked me to make a skratchy seal robot for a upcoming record cover. I was honored to be given this oppurtunity.

Direct from thudrumble.com: "SKRATCHY SEAL has finally gone digital!!! This is a LIMITED EDITIONcollaboration with Traktor Scratch and Skratchy Seal to bring you the best of worlds. The first of it’s kind for Traktor users, Traktor Scratch’s timecode vinyl and timecode CDs contains the industry leading audio signal constructed from two sinus waves with a frequency of 2 KHz. Skratchy Seal side features all your favorite skipless scratch samples when you need to scratch the actual vinyl. Kaiju Bazaar - Mark Nagata

From the start of my first custom on Mark Nagata's toy, Tripus, I knew I wanted to do another custom using his figures. This time, I worked on an Eyezon, split the figure into two in my usual fashion and these are the results:

Last night was the opening of Kaiju Bazaar, curated by Mark Nagata and hosted by Double Punch. Here are a few pictures from the opening night:
Pico Pico

Much apologies as I have no pictures of the pieces by DeadPresidents and RealxHead....
Kirkland of Toybot Studios doing a quick video interview with Mark on the scene.
Mark talked about the little gifts that were presented to him. I was surprised and humbled by the coverage he gave to my toys. I'm relieved and happy that he enjoy them.
Fantastic night! There were TONS of pieces sold within the first hour of the opening - go to Double Punch for all the great art pieces still available now!
