Tank Foot

Tank Foot came about with a block of clay. The whole piece was sculpted freehand, required lots of long breaths and a steady hand.

Not sure where the idea of having a tank as a foot came from...

Mmm...yummy guts!

Old Man Walker

Here is the finished piece that I'll be trading with Downtimer for one of his artwork.

Get out of his way or he'll smash you with his walker!

Robot Seal

Sorry I haven't been posting any finished pieces on here recently. I've been working on 5 different projects simultaneously. 1 down, 4 more to go:
Align Center
Everything was hand-sculpted, except for the board inside the robot's stomach. No blank toys were used.

Hope y'all enjoy this rare bloodless piece from me :)

More projects to be posted on here soon; including a piece I'm working on with GoreZone.

Disgrace & Embrace @ Double Punch

A few days ago, Downtimer mentioned about a show that I should check out. Disgrace & Embrace at Double Punch: showcasing the latest works of San Francisco natives: Nate Van Dyke and Jeremy Forson.
First up: Nate Van Dyke.
Nate's custom Yoka....so lovely :)

Nate stuck around to talk about his work, a recent photo shoot with chimps for Juxtapoz magazine and whisky.
Next up: Jeremy Forson.

Although I didn't get a chance to meet Jeremy while there, his work is obviously awesome. Yet another great talent from the Bay Area.
I bought a Pay Day toy for Nate to sign. He tagged the back of the chimp and signed the book also :)
Other goodies I picked up while at Double Punch: Aliens Kubricks and some classic Akira toys.
